Inaugural CISI Southern branch annual dinner kicks off with a key message

Kate Lester, a local entrepreneur, provided the audience with insights into the importance of ethics, values and integrity in the financial services sector at the event, held on 30 November 2017 at Harbour Hotel, Surrey


Over 40 guests contributed over £800, excluding gift aid, to Mines Advisory Group, a non-governmental organisation that assists people affected by landmines, unexploded ordnance, and small arms and light weapons.

CISI Southern branch president Kate Nathoo, Chartered FCSI said: "The inaugural CISI annual dinner was a resounding success. Members and their guests had the opportunity to network in a positive atmosphere.”

Some of the top table guests were: Roland Jones, head of intermediary business development, Schroders; Tony Bennewith, committee member, Institute of Chartered Accountants; Colin Warner, CISI global director of finance; David Watts, sales manager, Janus Henderson Investors; James Hay, fundraising director at MAG, Mines Advisory Group; Terry McCarthy, Chartered FCSI, CISI senior client relationship manager; Jean Parsons, deputy mayoress, Guildford Borough Council and Cllr. Mike Parsons, deputy mayor, Guildford Borough Council.
