A group of investment managers is hoping to gain sufficient support to be admitted as a livery company, to join other financial services groups, such as the Chartered Accountants; International Bankers; Insurers; Actuaries; Tax Advisers and Solicitors.

With its core objectives of promoting education and investment excellence, the group, formed by CISI member John Garbutt FCSI and Mark Henderson, is looking to create a modern diverse livery company aiming to foster the profession and provide networking opportunities and fellowship for its members.

Membership will be open to anyone who works, or has worked for, regulated investment management companies, in whatever capacity, or who has made a significant contribution to the sector.

A public meeting will be held in London 6th July and anyone interested in attending should email info@guildofinvestmentmanagers.co.uk for further details.
