Bev entertained the audience of 90 guests with enthralling anecdotes about his experiences with the bands he has toured with.
Guests contributed a total of £1,000 (including gift aid), in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity, a leading UK specialist paediatric center which offers expert care to over 90,000 children and young people from across the country every year. The donation was achieved through a raffle, which awarded the winners with a John Lewis voucher worth £100, M&S voucher for £50, four tickets for a show featuring Bev's new band Reign, afternoon tea for two at the Clayton Hotel (donated by The Clayton Hotel), and a bottle of champagne.
CISI Birmingham & West Midlands branch president Mark Rogers ACSI spoke of the success of the dinner, not least because "the whole evening was declared a BREXIT free zone".
